This estate sale item is a handsome STOCK MARKET Bull Bear Standoff desk sculpture mounted on wood and apparently a promo gift from The Franklin Group - maybe vintage. The figures are nicely sculpted with some nice detail and an animated quality that I don't see in most of the bull bear standoff sculptures listed for sale, especially this bear's expression - much more engaged. They look like solid bronze to me, but I'm not sure if they are solid bronze or the bronze resin material that I've read about. The pieces are cold to the touch and substantial, with the total weight of the piece being almost two pounds. The wooden base bears the name plate of "The Franklin Group" and measures 10" long and has some minor nicks and wear
. The bottom of the base is covered with blue felt-like material for a non-scratch surface. All in all this piece makes a very attractive presentation.
