    DETAILS OF ITEM
    This is a vintage miniature Japanese Ainu wood carved Black Bear of Hokkaido Island, Japan that measures a mere 5/8" long.  Shown with its mouth closed, it roams the forest looking for its next meal. Displayed in a somewhat rare style, it is void of a salmon as compared to its ubiquitous cousins that carry a salmon in their mouths.
    The condition is very good and its age is from the 1970's.
